Hello! My name is April Rumph. I am the kindergarten teacher here at Jackson Steele Elementary School. I love teaching because it makes my heart glad to see students learn and go beyond the normal expectancy that the world says they are limited to. I beleive that students can achieve all there is to achieve when they have great supporters in learning.
Personally, I have attained a Bachelor's degree in Science in Early Childhood. I am currently attending Grand Canyon University where I am seeking my Master's in Elementary Education. I have previously taught at Selma City Schools for 3 years. I am here because there is a purpose for the students here to have someone who truly cares about their learning and provide instruction as best as possible. In my spare time I love to read, watch Netflix, watch Hulu, dance, sing, swim, color, and just enjoy life with those that I love. I have a son who is about to be 13, and thinks he is grown and a man! He is truly my joy, and keeps me laughing! I truly am happy to embark upon this journey of teaching this year. I am proud to be apart of the Jacskon Steele Elementary School Family! Thanks for having me aboard!
See ya real soon!
